No, actually they do race in non-circular tracks too. However, while it might seem boring going round in circular tracks, it is still difficult (after all, you are doing 200 mph or so and you are literally inches away from the way). That being said, Nascar cannot touch the thrill and sophistication of the F1 motor sport
