Description: The HUMMER HX concept may ride similar to its predecessors but there are big differences -- including its size and fuel source. The vehicle, which made its debut at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, is smaller than the brand's current models, measuring 171 inches long, 81 inches wide and 72 inches tall. The HUMMER HX concept also downsized its fuel-consumption, running on a 3.6L V6 engine that can burn E85. General Motors reports three designers, fresh out of school, sketched the vehicle before it was put into production. The vehicle also features a built-in, forward-facing camera that drivers can use to record their off-road excursions, and then replay on the monitor located inside the SUV. While the HUMMER HX concept does not include a radio, it does contain speakers that enable drivers to plug in their MP3 players or other similar devices.

lol halo 3 anyone???

sweet

its suposed to look like one xD

no radio???

STILL A PILE OF SHIT ON WHEELS LOL!

I definitely love the look.

this is the next best thing

kinda reminds me of a warthog from Halo

take it from an experienced person, you don't want to be stuck in a vehicle like this on an off road mission; better opt for a Toyota!

hummer will eat jeep for breakfast lunch and dinner

you should invent the Warthog from halo.. i would buy that any day over a hummer

thats sick i want one.

JEEP WILL STILL OUT OFF-ROAD that pile. Come on GM get with it, Seriously when you take off the top and back it looks kind of like a JEEP, but the bottom line is all the H products suck bad at off-roading. Even the H-1's suck on hard off-roading. Hire me to build your next truck, I have 35 years of off-road in me, from slow speed to racing, years in the Desert, Dunes and Rockies. Hire American Designers...

Hope it goes into production and let's all forget the H2 and H3 mistakes.

Man this is exactly what i would want to do, hoping to be a designer id love to design hummers or anything, id definetly buy that hummer looks as good as the H1 with the slantback.

they didnt design shit... they played Halo in LAN.... -_-'

i'm totaly goin to threw away my h3 and get this one when it comes out

thats the only hummer i like besides the hummer h1 but is it just me or dus like look kinda like a halo car lol

how the fuck would u know u fucken lame i but u havent got any ass so shut the fuck up puto

What a crap piece of shit like all the humms, thats why HUMMER is broke , because they build crap cars for crap prieces that consume way too much gas for what they are, even a lambo or a ferrari consumes less gas driving it at redlines. For offroad? only the military version because the h2 or so is like a total joke

Hey IzAAcFinz you wanna know whats so special about this rolling tin can? Its the few hundred thousands dollars that makes it special. As for the design and things, you will slowly see how special it is after you spend that special price on it.

ye after the hum v they just try make it look cute out all the hummer i buy a hum v be for buying shit ass hummer

Hey, it looks really cool. I guess that I'd buy it.

Finally,Hummer starts to realize they need to be like a wrangler, hummers suck off road, theres a vid on here of a $60,000 H1 vs a $6,000 used wrangler on a rock path, the H1 got stuck on the first dip,Wrangler made it all the way through. The HX should get ok mpg,its gonna have like a hybrid engine or something, with E85 compatability.

can anyone tell me whats so special bout this hummer?
